Update on Recording

Over the past weekend we went in for our second recording session of laying down guitar tracks with Evan Sammons. Shaun managed to get “The Grave Mistake” fully recorded and nearly finished “Fractal Patterns”, all he needs to do now for “Fractal Patterns” is lay down a sweet solo. Had to end early due to an incoming snow storm…again. The recording is sounding AWESOME and is only going to sound more monstrous once others bass and vocals are added. Based on the progress of recording it’s looking like it will be out in the summer. Stay tuned for more updates from the studio!

Introducing our newest guitarist Jarred Sullivan

jarredsullivan

We would like to take this time to introduce to you our newest guitarist, Jarred Sullivan formerly of the band Abstract Paradigm. We’re really pumped to have Jarred as the newest addition to The Summoned. He played his first show with us last night and we can’t wait to play many more together. Be sure to come out to one of our shows and see him tear it up!

Tentative Track Listing and Album Title

So here it is…we’re getting to that point where the album is truly coming together. In fact we have 9 songs with structures all completed. It’s going to clock in a little over 45 mins so definitely a great driving album! With that being said name of the album is titled “Sessions”. We’ll be recording with Evan Sammons from Last Chance To Reason. If we have some of the funds available we’ll be looking to record in Late September / Early October. It’s not easy being in an unsigned and dropping a few grand on an album definitely takes it’s toll financially. So we wanted to get your opinion. Should we do a crowd funding campaign to help raise money for the album? You can click the link below to vote! With that being said…the track listing.

“Sessions” ( Full Length)

1. The Pendulum Swing
2. Faradic
3. Primogenial Inception
4. The Grave Mistake

6. Fractal Patterns

Should We Start an Indiegogo or Kickstarter Campaign to fund the new album?
