We would like to take this time to introduce to you our newest guitarist, Jarred Sullivan formerly of the band Abstract Paradigm. We’re really pumped to have Jarred as the newest addition to The Summoned. He played his first show with us last night and we can’t wait to play many more together. Be sure to come out to one of our shows and see him tear it up!
Bassist Justin Marchant has parted ways with The Summoned due to personal reasons. The split was mutual, we cherished every moment we had having him around and wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors. Justin will be finishing up the album and filling in for select shows until a replacement is found.
With that said we are now officially looking for a new bassist. If you’re looking to play bass in a serious band and live around the Lowell, MA area below are some of the requirements for what we’re expecting in a new bassist.
• Over the age of 21
• Good equipment
• Have their own transportation to and from practice (Chelmsford, MA)
• Practice up to 3 times a week
• Steady income to pitch in for band expenses
• Ability to tour at least once a year
• Ability to play a 6-string bass
• Be open to constructive criticism and able to give feedback
• No felonies to be able to play out of the country

We’re excited to be trying out a new guitarist! This gentlemen has been shredding with us for two weeks and he’s already learning most of the new material and old stuff as well as keeping up with us. He might be performing with us soon so stay tune!
